1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The black and gloss gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is among the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos available. It makes use of lidar to navigate and creates maps of floors and rooms.
When I tried the S1, it was quick to locate our downstairs, which has linoleum flooring in the kitchen-diner and bathrooms, along with medium-pile carpeting and a large area rug. It was able to drive close to walls and even cross thresholds that are raised without issue. However, Going On this page had some difficulty traversing the stairs in one pass. The S1 also did a fantastic job cleaning hard floors by dragging its mop smoothly on the flat side against the floor and then lifting its own weight when it reaches carpet or rugs.
Before each mopping session, the docking station of the S1 automatically emptys its dust bin and refills its water tank with filtered, clean water ozonated. The dock also adds a cleaning solution to the water for deep cleaning. The S1 water tank is able to hold up to 12 mopping sessions, however this will vary depending on the frequency you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots, the S1 requires regular maintenance to ensure it is operating well. You'll need to periodically rinse out the dirty tank to keep it from becoming clogged. You'll also need to clean the swivel wheels and sensors regularly to prevent them from becoming clogged with dirt or dust. Overall, the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
This all-in-1 robot vacuum and mop combo from Ecovacs is a reliable option for cleaning requirements. The robot vacuum has 8700Pa suction power, and comes with a variety of unique features, including voice control and smart path planning that cleans furniture and avoids obstacles. The mopping capabilities of the robot are impressive. Rotating mop pads actually lift floors and scrub it, rather than simply dragging a pad across the surface. The mops are also cleaned and dried in the base station as needed.
The robot is simple to setup and use, with a simple interface that guides you through the procedure. It also comes with a hand-vacuum which can be used to clean those hard-to reach areas that the robot is unable to reach. There are also two water tanks which are automatically emptied or filled. It comes with a range of settings that can be used to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does excellent job of vacuuming, with strong suction that effortlessly picks up most debris and even the tiny dust particles that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are solid as well, though it is sometimes hung in the small carpets or area mats that I have in my home (which is something you can mitigate by creating a virtual border in the application). The mopping capabilities are quite excellent, too, with a pair of spin mop pads that actually lift and scrub the floors instead of just dragging the pad over it. The mops are also cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station whenever required. The mops are also refilled at the top of the station as needed.
3. Dreame X40 Ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was launched earlier this year. But their latest flagship model comes with even more impressive features. It boasts fantastic cleaning results and hands-off maintenance making it a top contender for our top robot vacuum and mop list. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection, and an expanded side brush will ensure a thorough, customized clean is completed.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming and removing large and small particles from both hard floors and carpets. It also cleaned our test's most filthy areas well, and eliminating pet hairs that are tangled and other messes. The sweeping power of the machine is boosted by a sidebrush that automatically moves out to get into areas that are difficult to reach and mop pads that run across baseboards.
Its navigation is smart, navigating narrow spaces and climbing stairs without missing a beat. It can move from one room to the next without having to reverse direction. This is a great feature for large homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance technology isn't as advanced than its competitors However, it tends to leave a large margin over obstacles, which can result in missed spots.
The app's interface is intuitive and easy to use. It should be easy to use by both novice and experienced users. The app allows you to schedule and manage cleanings. You can also alter suction power, mop setting and view 3-D and 2D maps. It can be controlled via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can even use the X40 Ultra's camera remotely to get real-time video supervision. You'll require a stable WiFi connection to use the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 pro
Robot vacuums are excellent at picking up dirt and debris but they aren't able to reach every bit of dust. That's why it's important to use your regular vacuum at least once a week, especially to remove dust from corners, on shelves, and in the corners of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that both vacuums and mops, is designed to do exactly that. It's easy to connect to your Wi-Fi at home network and integrates with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more convenient addition to your routine of cleaning.
The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the more expensive S-series models from the company, such as the flagship Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It has the same LIDAR mapping sensor, but cuts down on cost by removing mopping and using a less expensive plastic body.
Although it's no longer able to mop floors, the Q5 still has the best mopping and vacuum performance we've seen from a robot at this price. It has a suction power of 5500Pa, and an automatic empty system so you don't need to empty the bin manually every time. It also comes with a smart application that lets you choose the type of floor and schedule cleanings, as well as an automatic water tank refill and wash system that allows hands-free operation.
Its mops also impress with its 2700Pa power that can tackle dirt and pet hair, on both carpets and hard floors. The Q5 was among the few robots that we tested that did not have problems with high-pile rugs and carpets. However, it could not handle kitty litter or cable tangles. This isn't too surprising because it doesn't have AI-powered obstacle-avoidance features.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is one of the quietest robovacs we have tested, it also uses a unique system to map your home. This will allow it to enter corners and tight spaces that other vacuums cannot reach. It also collects dust in a bigger dustbin which means you need to empty it less often. It also has washable filters which further reduces costs. The robot is also able to detect carpets and boost the suction when needed. You can also mark areas you would like to keep out of the app.
